Understanding AFP
financial support

AFP support operates as a reimbursement scheme. Learners generally pre-finance the tuition fees and receive reimbursement after successful completion and compliance with programme conditions.

75% Reimbursement
Standard reimbursement available after successful completion of an approved programme, up to a ceiling corresponding to the monthly social minimum wage for unskilled workers.
Additional 25%
Possible if, within three months after the end of your EBU training, you can demonstrate successful professional integration with an open‑ended or fixed‑term employment contract of at least 18 months.
Up to 12 Months
Reimbursement normally applies to training periods up to twelve months unless an extension is approved.
Important Conditions

Before you
begin training

Ministry of Labour approval is mandatory.
The Ministry of Labour must formally approve your AFP application before the start of your EBU Lifelong Learning course; without this approval, no reimbursement will be granted
The reimbursement relates to a maximum training period of 12 months, unless an extension is explicitly granted by the Ministry of Labour.
