As a non-for-profit online and on-campus business school, EBU provides scholarship opportunities to students across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Hosting multiple specialized online programs, EBU remains dedicated to its core educational mission of upholding academic excellence and offering a world-class education to learners regardless of financial circumstance.
The European Business University is the Research branch of EBU, a non‑profit scholarly entity dedicated exclusively to educational advancement through the production, publication, and dissemination of peer‑reviewed academic journals. Its activities are focused on managing rigorous editorial and peer‑review processes, curating high‑quality research contributions, and distributing journal content to researchers, students, and educational institutions in print and/or digital formats. The organization operates as a platform for formal knowledge creation and scholarly communication in support of teaching, learning, and research.
To reach its mission, EBU has a fully supported team of internationally recognized faculty who are subject matter experts. EBU is especially committed to the idea that evolving innovation is the enabler that will benefit those who cannot afford a higher education. It is this spirit that can be found in every aspect of our online program and its activities, from our committed enthusiastic and highly motivated faculty and support staff to our global network of students and partners.
The Research branch of EBU conducts interdisciplinary, evidence-based research in business. The University hopes to make a significant contribution to high value outcomes that can be used by managers, policy-makers and regulators in various sectors and numerous countries. Through the Journal of International DBA Studies (JIDS), and European Academic Journal (EAJ) indexed with the National Library of Luxembourg, the University will publish high quality research and be the source for independent analysis and insight into issues impacting Luxembourg and global business.
EBU will strive to become the benchmark of world-class quality education by drawing on the talents of staff and faculty of women and men from transcultural backgrounds. EBU is dedicated to meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to transform our world through; GOAL 4: Quality Education.

The background of the European Business Institute
The European Business Institute evolved from The European Business University of Luxembourg and from Technology Enabled Learning – Africa, Asia and the Americas (TEL-A), both founded to advance a more balanced and equitable global educational system. While these entities were established and are based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the institution has grown into a global network encompassing several affiliated organizations:

President and Academic Dean
Dr. Mulli is the President and Academic Dean of the European Business Institute. His experience in portfolio management and subsequent move to higher education is driven by a strong belief that the real test of knowledge is, in addition to it being truthful, to empower each student.
Ms. Nina Rung Hoch
Founder
Nina Rung Hoch is a well-known expert in the field of online education and educational technology. She co-founded Technology Enabled Learning Africa, Asia and the Americas (Tel-A) which was renamed EBU.
