You must have completed an EBU Certificate or Degree course and successfully passed. You must also meet all EBU Student Honor code standards to qualify for the internship or referrals.
Internal EBU internships are for a minimum of 6 months in length and do not guarantee renewal or employment. Internships may be completed during and after any semester.
You will be assigned to an EBU function with supervisors who are full-time professionals with no less than six months experience with EBU.
You are expected to assume the responsibilities of a regular staff member and must be available as prearranged.
You must continue to take coursework while participating in an internship. If there are extenuating circumstances, exceptions can be discussed with your supervisor.
You can be withdrawn from an internship if your performance is below standard.
You must satisfactorily complete assigned responsibilities which will be evaluated by the EBU supervisor.
EBU operates on the principle of ROWE (Results Only Work Environment). EBU aspires for the value proposition of Operational Excellence. All communication must be responded to within 24 hours and tasks within 48 hours, unless these are lengthy.
Interns will be compensated €50 for the first 6 month.
Interns will be compensated €100 for the following 6 months.
Intern hirees will be compensated €200 after 1 year with a probationary offer of employment.
