Are you interested in becoming an intern at EBU? Here are the requirements to qualify for our prestigious internship program:

  1. Completion of EBU Certificate or Degree Course: To ensure that you possess the necessary knowledge and skills for the internship, it is required that you have successfully completed an EBU Certificate or Degree course. Moreover, this completion guarantees your readiness for the internship opportunity.
  2. Meet EBU Student Honor Code Standards: Adherence to the EBU Student Honor Code is essential. Upholding these standards demonstrates your commitment to ethical conduct and professionalism.
 

Duration and Expectations

Our internal EBU internships offer a valuable learning experience. Here’s what you can expect during your internship:

  1. Minimum 6-Month Duration: Internships at EBU span a minimum of six months. This duration allows for immersive involvement and a comprehensive understanding of our organization.
  2. Assigned to Experienced Supervisors: You will be assigned to an EBU function under the guidance of experienced supervisors. These full-time professionals possess at least six months of experience with EBU, ensuring you receive valuable mentorship.
  3. Assume Responsibilities of a Staff Member: As an intern, you will assume the responsibilities of a regular staff member. This hands-on experience will allow you to contribute actively and enhance your professional skills.
  4. Availability and Prearrangement: Your availability must be prearranged and aligned with the needs of your assigned EBU function. Timely communication and commitment are crucial for a successful internship.

Continuous Learning and Performance Evaluation

At EBU, we emphasize continuous learning and performance evaluation:

  1. Coursework Continuation: While interning, you are required to continue taking coursework, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience that enhances your professional development.

  2. Performance Evaluation: Your EBU supervisor will evaluate your performance as an intern, providing valuable feedback to help you grow and excel in fulfilling your assigned responsibilities.

 

Compensation and Future Opportunities

We value your contribution as an intern. Here’s the compensation structure and future opportunities available:

  1. Competitive Compensation: During the first six months of your internship, you will receive compensation of €50. For the subsequent six months, the compensation will be increased to €100.
  2. Probationary Offer of Employment: After one year of successful internship completion, you will be eligible for a compensation of €200, along with a probationary offer of employment. This provides a pathway for long-term growth within EBU.
